    • Louise, I am not familiar with the abreviation of CPS. Please explain what it stands for as I may be more familiar with other terms that it may be. Then, I will explain further. I will share with you that along with very severe RA, I have moderate Lupus (3 forms which include SLE, Discoid and CNS or Central Nervous System Lupus) The CNS Lupus does affect my brain that was proven by an MRI of the brain. I have white spots (plague) on the area of my brain that serves my communication and memory. My memory is quite poor, especially the short-term, but I do have some long-term memory issues, as well. It’s terribly frustrating to me as one of my major skills have been that of an orator. Interestingly enough, when I am writing, I have very few problems communicating. It’s my oral skills that have taken a nose-dive. I am treated with Aricept which is the first and primary treatment for Alzheimers, yet the truth is that those of us with CNS Lupus do not have any more chance of developing Alzheimers or Dementia that the average public. Thank God for that! I now need to return to the Neurologist because I’ve been on the same dosage for about 4 years now and it’s time to increase the dosage as the disease has advanced, causing me more and more communication difficulties, yet when I first began taking Aricept, I saw an approx. 60-70% an improvement. I’ve certainly deteriorated since that time. Please offer me more information and I will then respond to your question and if need be, I will do research on it and then respond to you. Thanks so much for your question. It’s an excellent one! God Bless You! God Bless Us All!

Just had to pop over from Denise’s blog to check out your puppy pictures. They’re adarbole! I was raised with Labs, then spent 30+ years breeding, training and showing Shelties before adding Labs to the mix again. In retirement now, we have a six-year-old black Lab the love of our lives! So congratulations on the arrival of yours. (And of course, also on your writing achievements. Finishing your revision is awesome!)

Hello Dr. Steve, I am extremely grateful to you for providing exercises and information about crossed body syndromes. After an overuse injuries to my hip muscles, too much hiking in one day in the Grand Canyon, I have developed a severe case of lower cross body syndrome. I have been the typical route of Chiropractor, ( uniformed of this problem), M.D. and physical therapist. None of them had a clue about the importance of breathing correctly. I found this out only after dismal results from therapy and desperation of finding a solution myself.. Most of the people I would love to go to are far away and the expense would be too much to incur. I have been working on your exercises with breathing and baby back and I am seeing improvement. What I would like to know is this, I have a functional shorter leg on the right side. I have been using a tennis ball to roll the quadratus lumborum on this side and use a foam roller for hip flexors and quads. Backside I focus on trigger points in glutes and roll out the calfs. What do I need to do to get these leg to normal length? My pelvis is pulled up on the right and so pelvis is not level. I am extremely tight in the hips also. I understand this may be too difficult of a problem for you to advise exercises, but I wanted to give it a shot! Thanks again for all of your knowledge and making the correction exercises accessible online!!!
